A Fast Card

So I am back in Wisconsin without most of my stamping supplies (last summer I barely made any cards).   I decided to bring some card pieces that have been around my workspace for awhile so that I could use them up.  Here is the first card that was created:

Sympathy Card

The base is beige, with olive green card stock and designer paper.  The small rectangles were made using paper napkin leftovers.  The die cut flourish leftover has Sparkle N Sprinkle Moss Green flock for texture.  (Now you know which pieces were leftover!)

The leftover butterflies were punched out twice using 2 different colored papers   Small jewels were added  for the body.  The sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations.

Sympathy cards are always difficult to make.  This one is not very traditional.  Hoping that you have gotten some ideas.

I am off to visit my oldest son and his 2 children in Canada.  Short trip....only 3 days.  See you next week!

Very pretty sympathy card Sandy. You've used up all those left-overs so creatively.

thank you for sending this card to me, Sandy! I love it! Noooo, I could not find the "black" boo boo and I looked real hard. So in love with this layout am I, that it will be saved so I can use it on a card too! Thank you for thinking of me, and sharing such a pretty card! hugs, de
